Saipan holds enormous strategic importance. Protect your position at all costs.

In Hell’s Pocket, you will need to defend your base from 2 main paths of approaching ground units with some air mixed in for 26 waves. Good firing spots are in short supply here, so the plateau near your base will be built up significantly, as the turrets placed on this raised ground will form the backbone of your defense with their large coverage.

This guide will cover how to get a Full House, which is a perfect round with all medals and 20 victory points, on the Hell’s Pocket level of the iBomber Defense Pacific campaign, played on Veteran difficulty. In addition, this mission guide will also cover the secondary objective and hidden target along with a walkthrough video.

Secondary Objective

Destroy all the hidden bunkers.

There are 5 hexagonal bunkers that are semi-camouflaged with the surrounding grass located on this map. You will need to destroy all 5 for the secondary objective, each one taking 2 bombs to kill and acting like a mini supply crate, granting you 10$ per kill. There are 3 on the left side of the map, one on the right just south of your base, and the fifth at the bottom center of the map.

Supply Crates: none

Victory Points So Far: 320

  • Machine Gun lvl 3
    X2 Power vs Flamed Specialization
  • Cannon lvl 3
  • Bomb lvl 3
  • Flamer lvl 3
  • Comms lvl 3
    Increased interest specialization
  • Rocket lvl 3
    Faster rockets specialization
  • Anti-Air lvl 3

Perks used for this mission:

  • Bombadier II
  • Greenback II
  • Phantom Strike

Bombardier is an admittedly unusual choice for a mission; however, in Hell’s Pocket, it will help with a woefully underfunded early mission that desperately needs several turrets you might otherwise have a hard time affording. Phantom Strike helps solve our poor firing position problem by allowing much greater overlapping fields of fire.

Hidden Target

There are three small straw huts on this map. Your hidden target will be the small hut directly to the left of the bunker that sits at the bottom center of the map.

Turret Placement

Placing turrets begins with pausing the mission at its very opening and using the two bombs granted by your perks, one on each of the two crates that sit on the raised ground near the base that we will be mainly building upon. Once these have both been damaged significantly, place a pair of Machine Guns, one next to each, and have them shoot their respective crates when not firing on advancing enemies. A bomb turret will also be necessary at the start of this mission so you can destroy all the crates, bunkers, and the hidden target in time.

The rest of the mission should play out with the plateau being fitted fully with turrets, a comms in the center to upgrade all of the turrets on this area, and finally a pair of Rockets placed near your base entrance, fully upgraded and dug in so that each one covers one of the two paths towards your base.

NOTE: While the pics above help with detailed placement, this mission can be pretty difficult. Make sure to watch the video below if you find yourself having a hard time; the video covers the level in its entirety.
